Sandy White Surf Beaches
The Peninsula’s surf beaches offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful golden sand and pristine waters of the area. Whale Beach is an 800-metre stroll from the house and Palm Beach is a short 5-minute car trip away. Enjoy the sun, surf or perhaps a paddleboard.
Explore Pittwater & the Ku-ring-gai National Park
Pittwater is on the western side of Palm Beach and offers pristine calm enclosed waters shaped by the National Park. Hire a boat and explore the foreshore, take a guided Kayak tour of the area, skipper a yacht or take a ferry ride to The Basin for a picnic. Climb the bush track and explore the historic Barrenjoey Lighthouse & enjoy the breathtaking views of the area.
The National Park offers a host of fantastic bush walks that will get you close to nature and provide some extraordinary views of the Hawkesbury River, Lion Island and the central coast.
Hawkesbury River
For the more adventurous, take a seaplane or water taxi ride up the Hawkesbury River and have lunch at either the Berowra Waters Inn or Cottage Point Inn. Both these restaurants sit on the riverbank, towered by large rock escarpments with food and a mood that is extraordinary.
For a more gentle exploration of the area take a Ferry ride to Bobbin Head.

Indulge in fine cuisine at some of the highly awarded landmark restaurants such as Jonah’s, Ripples, Barrenjoey House, or Clareville Kiosk.
For something more casual, neighbouring Avalon has some wonderful cafes offering alfresco dining.
